Fell, Hard, Lost Weight in Skin

I was having a great ride home from work/softball today, was almost home, last turn before the parking garage.

I was keeping a good pace, about 25 on the flat, thought I brushed off enough speed, and took the turn with maybe a bit too much confidence. The next thing I knew I was on my left side, sliding downhill.

I am missing a lot of skin from the top of my wrist, my forearm, my shoulder, my butt cheek, my knee, my shin, and a lot again from my ankle. Thank god for my helmet, because I bounced my head off the pavement too. Everything started stinging in a matter of seconds.

I walked my bike the rest of the way, locked it, took one of the most painful showers in my life, put neosporin on everything, and then bandaged the wrist, because its missing a lot.

I need new bike shorts, these ones are torn apart on the left butt cheek.

Tomorrow was my scheduled day off. I'm going to take it.
