^48/17 is really good.
LIke I said. I ran 48/15 for a while adn got used to it, but 48/17 is really good, and makes a HUGE difference.

Man. I dont know though. Lots of ppl runnign 46/17 etc, and saying they dont spin out. Whats your guy's top speed? Are you able to keep up with traffic? Because I find 48/17 a perfect ratio for me, becasue I can accelrate very easily, I can spin very quickly on it and keep up with traffic.

But idk.

The big question I have is, what training do track bicyclists go through to be able to push such high ratios and not inflict knee damage, that apparently, a city commuter would if he ran the same ratio?

Anybody have the average speed they ride at normally on a daily basis?
