This thread was a good read for me.
I'm running a 48/15, which seems to be working out for me, other than I'm exerting a lot of force to skid (or at least I've noticed I have).
As well as the knees feeling tingly after long periods of riding, but that could just be me still getting used to biking longer distances, more frequently.
