True. Compared to Ultegra, at half the price and about the same weight, I'd say it wins. From what I've read and told by people that ride the stuff into the ground, Rival performance, notably the shifting, is nearly indistinguishable from Force. Oh yeah, and don't forget that Rival is better looking than anything Shmano offers.
