Thanks, i'll try the wd40, think i might have a can laying around somewhere.

Not sure if the ice cube will work, i've already removed most of the gum, what's left is the sticky residue, kinda like what's left from removing old tape just stickier. I guess if i did the ice cube method from the beginning it may have worked out.
