When I was shopping for a bike, I considered some more expensive models with mixed Dura Ace components. I decided that going with a 5.2 with some better wheels was a more economical compromise.
Also, as I mentioned, this area region has its share of hills/mountains. I'm thinking an upgrade might help a little on some of the longer climbs.
