Got out for a lovely early ride this morning. Mid 70s and not as humid as I thought it would be after some storms last night.

Today I thought I'd head to downtown Decatur via East Lake, Oakhurst and Agnes Scott. On my first rides I worried about hills, but I'm finding that pretty much any hill around here is doable. There were only a couple of other cyclists out. Everyone was missing out! I took a couple of pictures in Decatur:

In Decatur there was a guy riding a bike around yelling. Schizophrenic maybe? Reminds me of San Francisco. Usually avoiding those folks is all you need to do. So far in all my rides, I haven't felt unsafe at any point. Hopefully that'll continue but I do keep on the lookout for problems.

I started back sort of the way I came and then kept making turns to extend my ride. It was so awesome I didn't want to stop!
