Other than the aluminum fork being less flexible, I can't see a problem if you like it.

As far as the Prestige vs. Infinity, Prestige is lighter and not lugged, but the Infinity is a pretty nice lugged fork.
I think the Miyata 718a was an aluminum bike with a lugged steel fork....
