My exercise for the day: moderate pace 21mph, 24 miles around a local 4 mile park loop. The last 10 miles I found an enormous (strong) viking woman hammering out a 24mph pace and traded off pacemaking.
First one, yes. Didn't see a manhole cover in a low speed crash. Second one, probably, but I have no memory. Double snake bite on flat front tire looks like I hit a sharp pothole. Other than the flat, a little handlebar tape and saddle damage, my Addict was fine. I've left the blood on the front fork as a reminder not to ride for now. Dried blood on a white bike is way cooler than flames.
We've got a few Viking women in spin class, but there's a "no drafting" rule in effect.
