uhhh...no. Metabolic slowdown due to starvation has nothing to do w/ bonking. You bonk because you have exhausted the glycogen stores in your body's muscles & liver, & energy production can no longer keep up with demand (workload) - e.g. you're outta gas. You are perfectly capable of bonking on a 100% carb, maintence level or above diet; just work hard enough long enough w/ no calories in and - bonk, there it is.

Also...why the hell shouldn't you eat anything after supper?
