Maybe up that way, but you can cross at Raymond Blvd. into Jersey City. Our club does a yearly ride from New Hope, PA to Brooklyn Heights. We go through the port, up Doremus Ave. and then take Raymond (the "other 1 & 9). There is a pedestrian walkway, but we ride in the road. The ride is on the Sunday before Labor Day so the traffic is minimal.
