Yep, I'm definitely aware that this might be the case. I had some extra cash in my wallet and found a bike that fit me, so I decided to go for it. There's always a risk when you buy stuff second-hand. Weird, I can't find the purple color R800 anywhere in the catalogs... I'll post a pic when I get home and check for a serial number on the frame and Shimano parts.
