The moment the chain pops on youtube, you see it live (@ 7 seconds) from the helicopter's side view. I on the other hand see it live from the motorbike directly infront? From that video when they blow it up in the white circle it looks like he shifts with his right hand at the top of the pedal stroke and then the incident occurs at the bottom of the pedal stroke.
The video from straight ahead is less clear to me. Hard to tell if his arm moves first or if the jump of the rear wheel makes his arm move.
