Trying to decide on a new bike

Hello all,

Looking for some input on which bike to buy. I'm a fairly new rider but am looking for something that will last a long time. My goal is to use it during the week as a commuter, then on the weekend some touring of approx 300 km, and on occasional longer journeys.

I originally was looking between a Brodie Elan and a Rocky Mountain Sherpa 30.

After comming back from the store I found a Brodie Ronin 2010 with disk brakes and mostly Tiagra parts. 54 cm height which is a near perfect fit.

After taxes the bike will come in for me at around $1650.

I did some shoping around and found a Rocky Mountain Sherpa 10, 2009 for sale at a shop 4 hrs away. It will come in at about $1050 after taxes, it also has disk brakes. The bike is 55 cm, but I dont think that should be that big an issue. I think the parts are a Sora Shifters, 2203 front derail, deore back drail

I also found a sweet deal on a third bike I hadn't originally considered, it is a road bike but is priced at a sweet deal. It is the Pinarello FP1 which after taxes it will come in at about $1400, I think this is the best price deal but will it be able to be used at a light touring bike in addition to daily commutes.

Thanks for any input.

So Brodie Ronin at $1650,
Rocky Mountain Sherpa 10 at $1050,
or Pinarello FP1 at $1400
