The bad news is, I had two bikes stolen in 3 weeks. The good news is, I got a new Cannondale CAAD9 105 Compact (the jet black version), which rides and looks awesome:

For longer rides I put on my SPD pedals, but since I also use it for commuting and general urban cycling, I need to have platform pedals too. The pedals it came with look horrible, and I'm looking for some nice pedals. Yes, I care about looks :-)
They should be:
- Platform pedals, obviously
- Compatible with toe clips
- All metal, no plastic
- Preferrably of the "grippy" and not of the "shiny but slippery" kind
- Black would be a plus
I found that there is a great selection of high quality platform pedals for downhillers and BMX riders, but they are usually far too large for a road bikeand aren't compatible with toe clips.
On the other hand, most of the platform pedals which are small enough to put on a road bike are very cheaply made because all of the "real" road riders use clipless pedals nowadays.
The closest I found so far is the Wellgo M111 (

Do you know of any pedal model / manufacturer which might have something like that?
