I have no idea what the actual ride time was. The original plan was to ride the Amtrack to Winona, MN and bike back to MPLS, but the train was running 3 hours behind schedule so that idea was ditched at the train station over much discussion and another route idea was vaguely pieced together over breakfast. There were numerous long stops for food, figuring out the routes, add in the wrong turns, gravel roads, and carrying the bikes through un-rideable parts of the ATV trail. We biked out of the driveway of our house to go meet the train (before we knew it was late) at 6:00AM and we rolled back up into our driveway at 11PM.
