Grand juries are for throwing people in jail (actually beginning the process thereto). The better analogies would be BAlCO/Bonds, and Marion Jones.
DA's and attorney generals are elected officials... which should tell you all you need to know about why they're chasing a high profile celebrity instead of pursuing something that is actually endangering the population of this country.
