I have acquired a lightly used Brooks saddle for cheap... Would much prefer springs with a silver or chrome finish to the stock black. I have only been able to find one discussion on the web where this was discussed and the thread was not updated with durability info. Has anyone done this? Too much effort for simply cosmetics??
