Yesterday's commute home was rough, I left the office early because storms were rolling in, about 4 miles in I had a flat, so pulled under an overpass just incase. Got the flat fix in good time, the wind had picked but but still not raining, but very windy so I pushed on to the MUP knowing for the next 4 miles there would be no shelter if it began to rain. I made it past the MUP to the neighborhood part of the ride now 10 miles in 8 to go, and I could see the rain in the direction I was going, and it had already rained where I was at. I ended up having to find cover under a shopping center awning for about 10 minutes until the rain let off so that I wouldn't soak my computer backpack and my pc inside. The last 4 miles home were very wet from the water on the road but no major incidents. Boy I'm glad I just cleaned my bike the day before and had lubed the chain, guess I get to do it again.
