I was reading the under $700 road bike thread and several of the posts expressed a distaste for the sora shifters. I am newbie commuter with a hybrid wanting to get a road bike this summer and I liked riding around on the Trek 1000, so my question is what is the problem with sora shifters? The bike shifted thru the gears fine, so what else is there that I am supposed to be looking for?
