oh no, i had that idea reversed! i thought more pressure the faster just because it has less surface to surface contact....i could understand it would be more comfortable with less air...

off topic but do the handlebars and stem even in carbon or alu make a difference in comfort? if the tires are good, does that mean handlebar/stem are effected or does that have to do with the fork material also?
