What do you want to do with the bike? For 2k, I'd also say the R1000, but then I'd be racing it. In that range you can also get a full CF Giant - amazing value. If you want a more relaxed ride but still be able to jump into the odd race the Felt is a decent option. I've got a 2003 F35 and have enjoyed riding it on centuries and racing it in crappy weather. When the sun comes out, I race the E5. 2k will buy you a ton of bikes and you'll get a ton of replies here. Try a bunch out, see what you like and see what shop you prefer as well.
