I'm not sure if they allow you to bring them on the plane or not, but I am going to be in Europe for 3 months this summer so I don't want to have to anticipate cartridge need for 3 months even if I were able to fly with them. I am really wanting to find out if I can go to most bicycle shops in Germany and purchase the threaded cartridges to fit.

The Air Chuck that I am wanting to purchase is simply a little twist on cap for the cartridge with a nozzle to connect to the stem on the tire.

They are the type that require a threaded CO2 cartridge. I am wanting to get it just because it is smaller and I will be able to fit it and a couple cartridges in my underseat wedge.
