not much difference for me as i get most of my riding done on the way to work and home again by taking scenic routes all the time. even in darkess and snow. i've been riding pretty steady if not a lot since june 2008. i'm getting better though. last year at this time i'd only covered 635 miles, mostly commuter. me and the bike i got for my birthday last year (14 months ago) have 2030 miles as of this morning.
