Me? Arrogant? Snob? You must be kidding, at least if you knew me you would never say those things. I'll ride anything, dirty, fredly, whatever. However, I draw the line when it comes to those archaic, deadly foot torture devices known as toe clips. Yes, I used them more than 20 years ago and they suck. Feet get numb, there's no float which I need, and if you tighten them up you can't get out unless you reach down and loosen them.
I have old bikes, bar end and down tube shifters and decades old stuff, but toe clips are the suck, IMHO.
