Well, I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. Discs are a huge plus in your area I'm guessing. I like the frame of the Stumpjumper a bit more, but at the same time I don't feel much difference between a Stumpie and a FSR when I'm out riding. Specialized is doing amazingly well at overlapping their lines, to the point where its hard to justify a Rockhopper over a Hardrock, or a Stumpjumper over an FSR. I'm not wild about the Splice fork on the FSR, but other than that its a nice ride. Ride 'em and see what feels best.
