This. I have a Swift with Ti rails that is the most comfortable road saddle I have ever had. I also have a B-17 on my tourer. I could tour perfectly well on the Swift, but the B-17 seems slightly better suited to the more upright riding position I have on the touring bike.
Both saddles were comfortable, if a bit hard and slippery, from the start. I wouldn't do anything special to break them in beyond applying proofide to the underside of the saddle and riding them a lot. If you want to speed the rate at which proofide is absorbed you might heat it a little so you can pour it, rather than just rub it, onto the underside of the saddle.
The only other thing I'd say is to take care to put the saddle at the proper angle (for me this is marginally nose-up, but YMMV) so that from the start, your sit-bones are taking the weight and are positioned on the widest part of the saddle. New Brooks are quite slippery, and it is possible to keep sliding forward and ending up with your weight being borne by your soft tissue on the narrower part of the saddle. I have a theory that this is often the problem encountered by people who say they can't get on with Brooks saddles.
