Just thought I'd add; I'm under 50, I only eat brown bread, eat plenty of fibre, eat fruit/veg everyday, have very little dairy. Maybe I didn't drink enough last Sunday when I completed my first 100 mile cycle. Almost twice my previous best distance. It was a real struggle, I dug deep but did I dig too deep?
Yesterday morning I woke up pleased at my accomplishment but when I went for my shower I discovered I had what I suspect was a Hemroid! that wasn't there when I showered after the ride.
Could the effort on the bike have caused/contributed to the them?

Thx 10 wheels "Butt they still hurt the same way"
And I'd rather be picked up for my spelling that picked up by my hemroids!!
Thx in advance
WOW!!!! That's an accomplish. Congratulations on your first 100 miles. If I did even 50 miles I'd be on life support.
Hhhhmmmmm. Having a little surprise like that after your shower must have been a little alarming but it may be a common side effect after a long ride. However, you may have had hemorrhoids all along and the long ride just brought them out - literally. Under the circumstances I'd see my doctor for better management.

Cool. I have a jar of honey just crystallizing in the refridge. Now I can put it for another use besides making honey corn muffins.
As for the rest of you poor/sloppy spellers, I have two words for you -- "spell check".
In the far right hand corner of your reply box is an icon labeled "abc" with a check symbol under it. If you're not aware of it already, you can use this tool to check your spelling. It only takes a second to use and it's painless.
Of course it doesn't check grammar. You'll have to eyeball that yourself and do the best you can. However, this is not school. No points will be taken off your final grade. Some slack will be given if you're obviously distracted, plain stupid or you have freaking hemorrhoids after cycling way too long.
