Then again, you could take the pump apart and repair/replace/retrofit the parts to make it function properly. I'd imagine it's the leather washer that's the problem. If it's the hose, or also the hose, repair/replace that.

100 psi is a good benchmark for what it should be capable of delivering. Silca pumps can deliver this and more. That's why they are so well respected.
