Clean water. And keep the wound covered so it doesn't completely dry out. Moist = healing.

If you have just a small (or almost-healed) cut that's mostly on the surface, then both of those ointments will help (equally). But if it's really deep and filled with puss, neither of those would really help at all. They might even do harm by prematurely closing the "hole" at the top without letting the insides heal properly.
