You are aware that Ken Kifer was killed by an auto while riding his bicycle? Just seemed a little strange to be "poking" at him given the circumstances.

If I want to travel from point A to point B I want to know what my chances for morbidity/mortality are no matter how long it takes me, whether or not I drive a car, ride a bike, or sit on the shell of a turtle. That statistic is the one that has real meaning for me.

It is your choice to prefer other statistics. But I want the figure above.
