i don't understand why people don't realize your reasoning for wanting a SS road bike and not a track bike. the geometry is totally different.

i have a Giant TCR 2R that i bought (as a frame) and built up as a SS. i love it. i use a tensioner though, no eccentric hub. able to use a really light rear wheel that way.
here it is, minus the tensioner and pedals. you get the idea.
