Bikely.org is another mapping site that'll spit out profiles. It doesn't always play nicely with my computer, though.
If the climb is popular and you've got a major university nearby, chances are some engineering/computer science/geomatics geek has built a webpage with all the data. I've got Cal and Stanford to rely on, but UC Riverside is getting itself together.
Googling "Inland Empire bicycle climbs" gives you
this guy's site (surprise! he's a CS professor!) Anyway, give it a go with the name of a specific road or two.
