Since the 996 the 911 has become quite docile to drive..meaning any schmuck can drive one. The 993 was last 'real' drivers 911, and when you can drive one fast they are damn hard to beat. Boxters are easier do drive than a 993, they were made that way so girls like you can drive them
But they don't handle better when driven properly.
Have fun doing a valve adjust on your Boxter yourself...like John said that involves lowering the engine, as does just about anything else short of changing the oil.
