Hi Folks,

I've got a 2006 Kona Jake with a Trivativ Elita GXP Triple Crankset/BB. Mostly I use it for commuting, and its a lot of fun.

Lately the left crank has been coming loose, causing creaks where the right crank meets the hollow BB. Its relatively difficult to tighten up, I had the LBS work on it, but its already come loose again.

Its looking like I'll need to replace it. What's a good replacement part? Do I need to replace the chainrings with the BB and crankset? How about the chain? Is it possible to keep the external bearing set and simply replace the troublesome crankset and axle?
