A recovery ride is no more than 60 minutes in length.
A recovery ride will keep your HR low, like under 125bpm kind of low.
A recovery ride will be in your easiest gears. If you're using more than a 39x18 you're probably going too hard.
A recovery ride will keep your legs spinning in a 90-100 cadence, just to keep them loose and limber, but you may dip down into the 70s and 80s.
A recovery ride is so easy, your butt will hurt.
I tend to do my recovery rides with my wife. We use it as an opportunity to chat.
Is this easy enough?
