Eat what gets you to eat on longer rides. I converted a guy for life to Soy Joy when I gave him one on a century he bonked on. I usually buy Cliff bars, the Black Cherry Almond. Mmmmm....
But I always try to eat a banana with oatmeal for breakfast and take a banana with me on rides.
