That's not a horrible price for a local sale in Canada, where road bike prices (new and used) tend to run a couple hundred bucks higher than the US. (At least they do in Ontario, and I doubt BC is going to be much different since MSRP seems to be set nationally).

I'd expect you should be able to do better than that without having to deal with shipping, especially across the border.

As a point of reference, I bought a similarly spec'd 2007 Allez (Allez Ellite, Ultegra mech/FSA crank, no computer or pedals) locally a couple of months ago. The frame looked in absolutely mint shape, and the tires, chain, and cassette were all recently replaced and looked pretty much brand new. The owner figured he'd ridden it about 6000 km but he could have said he'd only ridden it a couple hundred and I'd have believed him. Asking price: $1250.
