Just got back after a week of vacation, and I definitely noticed a tad less daylight when I left for work this morning. It was cooler (69 F) than it was during any commute during the month of July here. We came within one day of setting a record for the hottest July but an unseasonably cool day on Saturday blew it. What a shame to suffer through such a miserable July and have it turn out to be only the second-hottest on record. The cool temps made for a great ride on Saturday, though, and I was climbing better than I had in weeks.
