Actually PaPa, I did what most other manufacturers wouldn't. I talked to him in length after he called us and explained what the issue was and that his trike had been set up incorrectly by the dealer. I told him how we regularly send out newsletters, assembly guides and post videos online for our dealers explaining in depth how to assemble these correctly and some still get it wrong. Mostly because of mechanics negative trike bias.
We've also talked to the dealer to assure this doesn't happen again.
I also told him that we've had only a couple of issues with the hundreds of Rovers we've sold and in all cases it was because of incorrect assembly.
I told him that we warranty it for life and he can order the trike through us, so he should have no worries if the trike is not to his liking, he can send it back at no charge.
So if that's cutting him a "Sweet Deal" then Yes I did, and I will do the same with anyone who calls me.
