I've used other models of PlanetBike fenders with the Speedez mounts and didn't like them. I could never get the rattle out, and the rubber bands that hold them broke pretty early in the game. After that I used zip-ties.

Road bike with short-reach calipers? The Crud Roadracers attach with zip-ties and O-rings. I'll be ordering a set for the Litespeed before autumn, and can report back after that.

While they came with my Trek Portland, I've been using the Bontrager Satellites on my other bikes. The quick-releases mount on the brake studs in place of the washer. The fenders clip on and off. The front mount has clearance issues on my Litespeed and my Schwinn Peloton with 25mm tires, so I use only the rear one on those bikes. Both fit on my Trek 1000 just fine with 25mm tires. Their disadvantage is that they cover only the rear part of the tire. Fine for keeping skunk stripe off, but not much else.

Here's the Peloton wearing just the rear Satellite
