Consider yourself lucky on the heat. I heard that last year the temperature going up Cayuse was around 105 degrees. I rode it this year, and it was the coolest of the three times I have done it, 2004 and 2006. I agree it is a great ride. Also, the headwind on the descent from the Crystal Mountain cutoff was less than normal. Overall, a perfect day for RAMROD. Good job.
