After quite a bit of searching and reading reviews (and considering most of the other mirrors listed here), I ended up getting a
Steady Eye visor mounted rear view mirror, and am very happy with it. Not recycled, but not factory-made, either. Compact, very secure mounting, easily adjustable yet holds its adjustment well, steady non-vibrating image, and nice solid construction.
