I have a few RA's and RC's here, not enough to make any conclusions. While I believe the RA, B, C pattern was as inconsequential to details as the number system - i.e., they just rolled over as did the numbers - you do have a point, though I can't confirm it. I have an RC-serialed Superbe on the list owned by a Mike Patterson, but I have no idea who that was, and if so, whether this gentleman was from the U.S. or Canada.
