They look pretty cool, but still not sure they would be a higher visibility replacement compared to a blinky - problem is seeing them from directly behind you (where the important cars you can't see are).
I was under the impression that from the animation the lights were visible from the back as they were embedded in the middle of the tire, not the side. I could be wrong however.
