Oh, I've ridden plenty of DL-1s, and once you get moving, all of that weight/mass means you'll be cooking along in no time. My Cadillac ride of choice is my '70 Schwinn Super Sport. I've got it down to around 27 lbs with modifications, but it's still a slow accelerator but a smooth rider.
