not even a crack...just a poorly finished braze job where the track end plugged into a chainstay. had powdercoat drooping into it, so you could tell it was there from day one and had not developed dynamically while riding. one photo emailed to jamis support & a couple hours later (yes, hours) a replacement was on its way to me. they cross-shipped and took no backup payment info from me.

absolutely phenomenal customer support, and a damn nice frame. get the sputnik.
