I butt-R up before long rides especially if it is going to be a hot day. Definately reduces the chafing. I have three different brands in various states of being used up. I still like the Performace Brand that was more like bear grease and has a nice fragrance, but I don't think they sell it anymore.

The other stuff (Chamois Butt'r I think - comes in a yellow and purple tube) seems lighter, but anything is better than nothing.Helps reduce saddle sores and that is my main goal for using the stuff. I hate saddle sores!! Keeps me off the bike and I get really cranky if I don't ride.

BTW I'm a real man. Have three kids to prove it.
