I take on board what people have said about mirrors, but I am not sure; even tho I have a lazy eye. And I would worry about putting anything on the helmet that is meant to protect my head.
At slower speeds, perhaps a bell is a safety product. Which I am hoping to get shortly. I think that they are required by law on new cycles in the UK.
