This is a pretty pointless argument, people. I don't think there is anyone participating in this thread who does not agree that if you eat more calories than you burn, you get fat. And that some people make such poor dietary choices that almost any level of exercise below that of an olympic oarsman will fail to keep them at a healthy weight. And "eating whatever you want" is a pretty subjective description, given that what some people want is a 24 inch pizza with 2 litres of coke on the side, while what others want is a fillet of sea bass and a stir-fry. You all know what you're talking about, so why fall out about it?
